As a sociology student, I often found myself passively examining societal issues and increasingly felt the absence of an approach built on active engagement, change, and responsiveness. In service design, I discovered this missing perspective, and in the community at meet, I found a place where I could represent it without compromise.
Being committed to the principles of human ecology, it's truly uplifting when the principles of human scale, knowledge of local context, and the importance of participation resonate in the steps and toolkit of service design. It's an exciting journey to recognize and actively seek out new synergies.
