Dynamo, a content management agency, offers comprehensive strategic, operational, and implementation support for those producing shows on broadcast channels and social media or organizing events such as festivals. The management aimed to prepare for a transformation enabling the team to handle more complex challenges. Their initial step was to gauge the sentiment of their employees, find ways to motivate and support them, in order to smooth internal discord and ready their processes and systems for the transformation.
our work
We conducted interviews with employees, leaders, and management members to assess how various operational elements either supported or hindered work performance. Special focus was given to interpersonal dynamics, points of friction, and potential risks. Based on this mapping, we identified areas worth improving at both operational and personal levels. We facilitated the generation of solution proposals through collaborative brainstorming with employees and the management aiming on how to reduce the confusion caused by operating alternately as a 'studio' and a 'factory'.
solution
The suggested solutions were aligned with the business strategy developed by the leadership, and we devised an implementation plan for the upcoming year. An added bonus from the project was that participants reported a closer connection between previously separate operational areas, and a greater transparency and understanding of the business strategy.
